3 Simple Ways to Celebrate Galentine’s Day

Galentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the strong, powerful women in your life. Whether you’re single or coupled up, this is a special day to honor your girlfriends and show them how much they mean to you. Here are some great ideas for celebrating Galentine’s Day with your best friends.

Get Creative With Crafts

For those of us who love crafting, Galentine’s Day is a great chance to get creative and break out the scissors and glue sticks. There are plenty of craft projects that pay tribute to female friendship, like making personalized cards or painting mini canvases with meaningful quotes. You can also make jewelry together using beads and wire or even create an embroidery hoop wall hanging. Crafting is a great way to keep your hands busy and express your creativity while spending time with your friends. Be sure to keep an eye out for coupons at major crafting stores, like Michael’s that can make your group crafts more affordable.

Plan a Group Activity

If you want to do something more active than crafts, plan a group activity for you and your gals! This could be anything from trying a new lipstick bar in your city. Or if it’s too cold outside, hosting a private movie night—like the one I host lasted year, we had a blast! Gather the girls for a great movie and some bonding time all in the privacy of your own home or even a rented movie theatre. Celebrating Galentine’s Day with an activity can be especially meaningful because it will give everyone an opportunity to bond as well as have fun.

Share a Meal Together

Nothing brings people together quite like food does! So why not host a Galentine’s Day dinner party at home? Put on some music and whip up some delicious snacks or desserts that everyone can share, like chocolate-covered strawberries or heart-shaped cookies. If cooking isn't your thing, there are always restaurants that offer special menus for occasions like this one! However you decide to enjoy food together this Galentine's Day, just make sure it's something everyone can savor - no matter their dietary restrictions!

No matter what type of celebration you choose for Galentine's Day this year, remember that it's all about showing appreciation for the amazing women in your life. It doesn't have to be elaborate; sometimes just taking time out of our busy lives to spend quality time with our friends can be enough. Even though Valentine's Day is all about romance, don't forget that celebrating friendship is just as important—so grab your gals and get ready for some serious girl power on February 13th!
